Sherene Melania, Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer of Presidio Dance Theatre presents DANCING ACROSS CULTURES on May 21, 2010 at 7pm

San Francisco Weekly named Presidio Dance Theatre "The Best Dance Company in San Francisco for 2009."

DANCING ACROSS CULTURES™ is the signature production of Presidio Dance Theatre. It is a full-length performance of national dances which reflect diverse cultural and folkloric traditions which have been preserved and passed down through the generations. Our Artistic Director Sherene Melania is the Principal Choreographer for this production.

2010 DANCING ACROSS CULTURES™ is a perfect expose of San Francisco's enchanting multi-cultural mosaic.

DANCING ACROSS CULTURES™ provides not only an artistic bridge, but an emotional bridge to diverse worlds that audiences can easily dance across - to understand, master, and thereby enrich their lives. The purpose of DANCING ACROSS CULTURES™ is to deepen impressions and knowledge of people, culture and art. We believe that cultural exchange is the best way to achieve mutual understanding, friendship and peace, promoting the enrichment and flourishing of national art and the development of world culture.
