i! I'm Judy Bretschneider, Founder and Executive Director of Presidio Dance Theatre. Members of our Junior Company and their families will travel to Istanbul and Izmir, Turkey April 14-24. I invite you to follow the road, as we blog our experiences, performances, and breaking news. Our dancers have been chosen as the sole representatives of the USA and will perform a traditional Appalachian Clog and Hip-Hop Tap piece set by Ian of the Barbary Coast Cloggers at the largest international dance festival for children in Turkey. Young dancer, Julia Zweifach has been selected to join our Artistic Director Sherene Melania in Ankarra to be presented to the President, Prime Minister, and Parliament Director of Turkey. Also present will be the directors of TRT (Turkish National Television) all performances will be available via satellite internationally and on YOUTUBE.
